If you have a business or a love one in Thailand, and you want to send them some money. It is probably not the smart idea to buy a ticket to Thailand to hand them the money. What should do? There are many different methods that you can send money to Thailand. Let’s explore each one for its advantage and disadvantage.
Western Union
Western Union is one of the ways that you can send money to Thailand. In my opinion, Western Union is a very fast and simple way to send money to Thailand. You do not need to fill out much paper work, and you can send money to your love one within thirty minutes. You will usually only need to fill out some forms and have your driver license with you. It is a very simple process, right? Unfortunately, they cost a lot of money. If you need to send money for an emergency, Western money is the best way. Otherwise, they are just too expensive in my opinion.
Bank Transfer
If you are not in a rush of sending money, you may want to consider bank transfer. The fees for bank transfer are usually about $40 dollars. You will be charged $40 dollars, even if you want to send $50 bucks. The other downsides about bank transfer are the time. The bank usually took 3-4 business day to process.
PayPal
Paypal allow you to send money online. You will need to have credit card to use Paypal. The good thing about PayPal is, “ it is free to send money.” It also took 3-4 business day to send money. If you are planning to send money every month, Paypal is probably the best method for you.
