Phanom Rung Historical Park :
Buri Ram is one of the largest and most populated provinces in Isan, northeastern region of Thailand. It is also known as City of Pleasantness and is around 410 kilometers from Bangkok. There are many attractions to keep visitors busy but one of the most popular sites is the Phanom Rung Historical Park situated on top of the Pranom Rung Mount, especially with history and archaeological buffs.

Phrachao Yai Wat Hong :
Phrachao Yai Wat Hong is located in Phutthaisong district of Buri Ram Province. This revered Buddha image is built in Laotian style architecture and show Buddha in subduing Mara posture. It is believed that the image was built either during the late Ayutthaya period or in the 18th century.
The Buddha image is 2 meters tall and has a lap width of 1.6 meters. It is made from laterite and also features the folk art of the region. This Buddha image is housed in Wat Hong, also known Wat Sisa Raet.
