     Prasat Hin Phimai National Historical Park has a massive Angkor shrine made from white sandstone. This shrine is around 30 meters tall and is surrounded by smaller shrines, which pink in color.         Nakhon Ratchasima Province is located in the northeastern part of Thailand. The provincial capital is also called Nakhon Ratchasima and is considered to be the gateway to Isan. Nakhon Ratchasima Zoo 

        Nakhon Ratchasima Zoo is around 13 kilometers from the city of Nakhon Ratchasim. It is located on Ratchasima Pakthongchai Road and covers and area of 218 acres. It is one of the most modern zoos of Asia and is home to over 500 animals, including the magnificent large animals from Africa.

 

        In the zoo there is a ground that functions as a small park for visitors to enjoy nature. You can take guided tours around the zoo in safe and comfortable mini trains, bicycles or even on foot. The park offers attractions like children's zoo, Dino Park, plaza, penguin and seal exhibition and water cycles.

        The enclosures used to house the animals are large and landscaped to match the natural habitat of each animal. The most popular animals in the zoo are African elephants, rhinoceros, cheetahs, lions, zebras, giraffes, seals and penguins. The zoo also has a building full of reptiles and a hornbill garden.

        Nakhon Ratchasima Zoo plays an important role in animal conservation and breeding. It is a platform to educate the public on wildlife and the importance of animals while creating a recreational center for people to relax and enjoy themselves amidst grounds that are decorated with beautiful flowers.

        Nakhon Ratchasima Zoo is very popular with people studying biology because of opportunity to study animals in a near-natural environment. The zoo is open daily from 8.30 a.m. until 4.30 p.m. The entrance fee is 10 Baht for children, 30 Baht for adults and 30 Baht for taking in a four-wheel vehicle.
