The entire province of Uthai Thani is divided into 8 districts or Amphoes with every district offering a unique set of attractions for the tourists visiting that place. One such major attraction is the Tham Khao Wong Forest Park, which is located inside Amphoe Ban Rai in the southwest of Uthai Thani.

Around 35 percent of the area inside the forest park is filled with steep mountainous terrains of limestone. The most interesting geographical features inside the park are the Khao Chom Lom or the valley of the wind and Khao Roop Chang or elephant shape. Both these mountains are separated by around 1,000 meters with the highest peak being 637 meters above sea level.

Another interesting and captivating destination inside the park is the Tham Phu Wai, a large cave containing some unique formations of stalagmites and stalactites.  The cave is located on the mountain slope and is well-ventilated. Around 9 species of bats have been found to be present inside these caves. Visitors can easily climb up the slope and enjoy these beautiful natural formations of limestone. Adjoining the mountain are streams such as Huai Mor Kow that flow all round the year.

The mountain terrain is covered with mixed deciduous forests that contain several unique species of flora and fauna. Some of these include the Butterfly Lizard, Pheasant, Macaque, Barking Deer, Civets, Jungle Fowl and Bamboo Rat.
