Obtaining Non Immigrant Visa Outside Thailand

The letter should mention that you the company has offered a job to you. It should request the Embassy to give you a non-immigrant visa. Make sure that you ask for the letter from your company in advance. They probably will need some time to write it for you.
You should also ask a copy of the company’s registration. Recently Thai Embassy has been asking the applicant to prepare for a copy of their work permits to get visa next time. Sometimes, they may even stamp the message in your non-immigrant visa. Do not forget to bring two recently taken photos with you.
Sometimes Consulate officials try to make a small talk like “Do you enjoy working in Thailand?” You should watch out what you say. It is often a trick question. They want you to admit that you have been working without a permit. So the right answer should be, “ I have never had a chance to work in Thailand yet, because I don’t have my work permit. But I am sure that I will enjoy it,..etc.”
